The holiday season isn't filled with excitement, happiness and joy for everyone. Instead of being surrounded by friends and family, for some of us our only company is tears, heartache and memories during the Christmas season.
On December 21 at 7:00 p.m. we will have a candlelight service to recognize and honor those for whom this time of year is especially difficult. This Blue Christmas Service will be one of prayer, reflection, tears and lighting of candles as we remember those who are no longer here to celebrate Christmas with us. All are invited to join us for this sacred evening. Childcare will be provided.
First Congregational UCC will be holding its annual craft show on Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 9 am to 4 pm. Our show features homemade, handmade craft items by approximately 50 vendors. Homemade chili, chicken noodle soup, and sloppy joes will be available in our lunch cafe. The First Congregational UCC Craft Show is part of the North Ridgeville Visitor's Bureau "Holiday on the Ridge", an annual Christmas celebration featuring multiple craft shows, business open houses and a community lighting ceremony at South Central Park. If you are interested in reserving a table, contact the church at (440) 327-2921 or download the 2014_Craft_Show_Contract.pdf
